Edward Jacobs was founded by David Chambers as a boutique recruitment firm specialising in Accounting and Finance, initially serving clients in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
Like many boutique recruitment firms, Edward Jacobs began in a home office. However, within months and with a rapidly growing clientele in the Sydney and London CBD, we relocated to better service our clients in both these key financial districts.
National, Regional & International Coverage
Edward Jacobs has evolved into an International recruitment firm with offices in most capital cities, working alongside clients across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
Whilst we cover the metropolitan areas, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, ACT, Auckland and Wellington. We also focus on servicing regional areas across Australia and New Zealand.
Our latest venture has seen us expand into the UK, with an office in London.

Edward Jacobs is a national recruitment agency specialising in professional services. We focus on permanent positions (both part-time and full-time) with large listed businesses, from boutique Public Practice firms to the Mid-Tiers and Big 4. These roles vary from cadet to partner level across a range of disciplines including Business Services, Audit, SMSF, Insolvency, Forensics and Corporate Tax.
We also specialise in Financial Accounting in industries such as Financial Services & Banking, Technology, Media, Retail, Construction & Property, Renewables & Sustainability, Not-for-profit, Education and Health Care.
We work with large international multinationals while still servicing local businesses.
